The Talking Tomorrows Privacy Statement

Talking Tomorrows is an independent Speech and Language Therapy service providing face-to-face services and support via the telephone and email. The service is owned and managed by HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapists, Tina Meagher and Nicola Masterson.
Privacy and personal data storage is taken very seriously. All measures are taken to ensure that your information is safe, secure and necessary. We only store information that is needed in order to provide a service.
This privacy policy lays out for you how your data is used, stored and managed.
Personal Data
Client data
Client information is stored as part of the service provided. This includes written case notes, audio/video clips and postal address. When you become a client you will be asked to sign a consent form that includes further details on this. Client data is kept for a maximum of 8 years following the end of the intervention. Data collected from an initial enquiry and discussion will be kept for 1 month.
How we keep your data safe
Your information is stored on an encrypted, password-protected laptop. Some information is stored on third party systems, as part of the service that is provided. These third parties act as data processors and have their own privacy policies that also protect your data. The following third parties are used by Talking Tomorrows:
Microsoft One Drive for Business (for secure storage of case files)
Microsoft Business 365 (for sending you invoices and receipts via email)
WiX (for hosting the website)
Access to your personal information
If you wish to view your personal information or have it amended/deleted, then you can email your request to enquiries@talkingtomorrows.co.uk.
This policy was written in September 2019 to comply with General Data Protection Regulations. The policy will be reviewed on a monthly basis for the first year of business set up to ensure it continues to comply with General Data Protection Regulations and yearly thereafter.
